Kees Zeelenberg has been Chief Methodologist at Statistics Netherlands since 2005. He has studied econometrics and economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and holds an MA and a PhD in Economics. Since 1985 he has worked at Statistics Netherlands in various departments in methodology, quality and economic statistics. He has been Chief Editor of the International Statistical Review and is Associate Editor of Survey Research Methods. He is a fellow (elected member) of the International Statistical Institute. He represents Statistics Netherlands in several research consortia, such as NDSW and M3, which both aim at creating data infrastructures for the social sciences in the Netherlands.
